Buying fabric in bulk from an Indian manufacturer

Amrita Global Enterprises is a fabric manufacturer and exporter based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, operating since 1971. We supply woven, denim and knitted fabric to garment manufacturers, uniform producers, export houses, hospitality suppliers and private-label brands. Production runs at over 20,000 meters per day, and finished goods move to buyers in India and across nine-plus export markets.

This section of the site exists because fabric sourcing is a local decision as much as a technical one. A buyer in Tirupur asks different questions from a buyer in Kolkata or Ajman — different transit times, different documentation, different peak seasons, different construction preferences. What each city page tells you

Instead of a generic capability list, every page carries the details a merchandiser needs before raising an inquiry:

• Full construction data — composition, structure, GSM, ounce weight, width in centimetres and inches, design and finish.
• Minimum order quantity for that quality, stated per shade rather than per order.
• Supply model — whether the quality is held as never-out-of-stock, run to order, or offered as a limited lot.
• Realistic timelines for lab dips, sampling and bulk dispatch to that destination.
• A direct route to the sourcing desk by WhatsApp, phone or inquiry form.

Fabric categories we manufacture and supply

Woven fabrics. Cotton poplin and twill in shirting and light bottom weights, solid dyed and yarn dyed, with mercerized, bio-finish and silicone treatments available. Typical range covers 110 to 260 GSM at widths up to 146 cm.

Denim fabric. Cotton and cotton-polyester denim from 5 oz through heavier bottom-weight qualities, in indigo and solid shades, for jeans, jackets, overshirts, co-ord sets and workwear programmes.

Knitted fabrics. Single jersey, pique, interlock and allied constructions for t-shirts, polos, innerwear and activewear, dyed to shade against approved lab dips.

Where a required quality sits outside the standing range, we develop it. Custom development covers construction, weight, shade and finish against a buyer's tech pack or a physical reference swatch.

Shade continuity on repeat orders

Most sourcing failures on repeat business are shade failures, not price failures. Our dyeing library holds over fifty developed shades with recorded recipes, so a second or third order against an approved standard reproduces within commercial tolerance. Lab dips are issued before every bulk dyeing run, and buyers approve against their own light box before we proceed.
